What is Equine Assisted Therapy?
Equine assisted therapy encompasses a wide range of treatments which occur in an equine environment. Therapies, which may include on-horse or horse-involved activities, promote well-being and growth in people with a variety of physical, occupational, and emotional challenges. This method of therapy does not replace more commonly used treatments but is used to enhance other traditional approaches.
