Rainbow Center is a progress-focused program for children and adults with physical, mental, and emotional challenges.  Some of the challenges our riders cope with include:

• Cerebral Palsy

• Spina Bifida

• Blindness

• Downs Syndrome

• Deafness

• Learning Disabilities

• Emotional Imbalances

• Autism

Riding at Rainbow instills the riders with a love for the horses and a desire to ride.  This makes their therapy fun.   When therapy is fun, it's easy to get the kids to take part and learn.

Each of Rainbow's students is special.  Therefore Rainbow ensures that each student has a customized lesson plan that is designed to meet his or her individual needs.

Our equine therapy is integrated into the student's current therapy or special education program.  This is done with the cooperation and under the direction of the individual's physician and therapist.

"I love to trot and play Red and Green light with Amigo. Riding at Rainbow makes me feel happy, it is the best! "

"Nicole has been riding at Rainbow Center for 12 years.  It provides her with a sense of accomplishment and independence that she doesn't usually receive in her normal daily activities."
