The Rainbow center is funded entirely by donations

Donations of money, material, and services are an integral part of Rainbow's success.

Funds to support the Rainbow Therapeutic Equestrian Center come from a number of sources including private and business contributors, local clubs, and government and foundation grants. On certain occasions we are the beneficiary of another organization fundraising event.  For example; Old Town Manassas selected Rainbow Center to be the beneficiary of their Wine and Jazz Festival.

We have various fund raising events throughout the year.  The Winter Dance and Silent Auction are lots of fun.  Another opportunity to have some fun, meet the Rainbow family, and to help us financially is to participate in our Bowl-a-thon in the Fall.

Some examples of how your money goes to work:

  1. $104.00 Provides 2 weeks of food, veterinary, and farrier services for one horse.

  2. $150.00 Gives one child a 5 week session of Therapeutic Riding

  3. $225.00 Pays for a Therapeutic Riding Instructor to provide 5 weeks of lessons to a group of disabled students
